Centenary Students is seeking to help students connect in relationship with Jesus Christ and grow in their faith so that it is genuine and lasting. We believe that we will achieve this by reaching students with the message of God's Kingdom, helping them to grow in their understanding of God's Kingdom and lastly by creating opportunities for teens to serve within God's Kingdom.
Below you will find information about our programs but it is our great hope that you know that our programs are not what defines the Student Ministry here at Centenary. The defining factor of the ministry is our emphasis on relationships and seeking to help teens discover Christ by faithfully living and being that which we teach, Disciples of Jesus.

What We Do
Sunday Night Worship - 6pm-8pm
Both Middle and High school students meet every Sunday evening for a time of worship, teaching and fun. We meet on the 2nd floor in the Student Ministries room. It is during these nights that teens will find great fellowship, inspiring worship led by our student worship band and teachings that will challenge and engage them. We strongly encourage all teens to attend on Sunday nights.
Sunday School - 9:45am-10:45am
Sunday school is a place that teens can find fellowship and grow as disciples of Jesus. As we study the Bible and its application for everyday life we also grow together as a Church family. We meet on the 2nd floor in the Student Ministries room and our topics of discussion vary from week to week.
Wednesday Night Bible Study - 6pm-7pm
Throughout the school year we meet on Wednesday nights for Bible Study. We feel that the study of the Bible is an essential component of the spirtual development of your teen. During our study we encourage meaningful conversation, in-depth study and prayer- giving the teens an opportunity to explore their faith and interact with others. We meet on the 2nd floor in the Student Ministries room.
Student Leadership Opportunities
Centenary Student Worship Band
Our Sunday night worship time is led by our Student Worship Band. Any teen is welcome to tryout but we do require a strong commitment from the teen and family. Teens that get involved with the band find themselves actively engaged within the ministry, developing musical abilities and character development. If your teen would be interested in participating in the band, please contact the Director of Student Ministries.
Centenary Student Leadership Team
The purpose of the student leadership team is to train, develop and equip godly student leaders to impact their generation for Christ. Any student in 8th-12th grades who has a growing commitment to Christ and a strong desire to care for their peers is encouraged to fill out an application. The student leadership team develops outreach opportunities for fellow students, dreams and plans worship services, mentors younger students and most of all serves. This team is a great chance for any student considering ministry as a lifestyle to get their feet wet.
