Music Ministry

Praise Team and 9:45 Worship:
Our Praise team consists of people who have a focus on the Holy Spirit and how He can function through their musical and technical abilities. Guitars, drums, vocalists, and sound technicians all unite to praise the Lord on Sunday morning at 9:45. This contemporary worship service can always use volunteers as both musicians and sound technicians. For more information contact David Meade.
Chancel Choir
The chancel choir at Centenary is committed to praising the Lord through song. We practice on Wednesday evenings from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. No experience is required and only minimal music reading skills are necessary. The chancel choir is the main special music on Sundays at 11:00 a.m. and sings for special occasions, such as the Christmas Cantata. For more information, contact Tim Johnson.
Jubilant Ringers
Centenary boasts a five-octave bell choir that always has room for more ringers. We play for the traditional worship service about once every three months. We have rehearsals on Mondays from 7:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the choir room at the CLC. Come join our jubilation! For more information, contact Tim Johnson.
Instrumental Music
Occasionally Centenary benefits from instrumental music in worship (in addition to the traditional piano or organ). If you play an instrument, we can use you! Then, when we have a need for your instrument, we can call you. Instrumentalists of all levels are welcome to play in the Resurrected Band that plays the hymns on Easter and adds to the joyous cacophony. For more information, contact Tim Johnson.
